1. About LetsConfide
LetsConfide provides tools for creating, distributing, and analysing research forms, surveys, questionnaires, and related response records. Features, limits, integrations, and pricing depend on the plan shown at checkout or in an order form.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate account, billing, and organisation information. You are responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for activity under your account. If you use LetsConfide for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
3. Blockchain-enabled integrity architecture
LetsConfide is designed to keep response content and personal information off a public blockchain. Depending on the feature and implementation, LetsConfide may anchor a cryptographic hash, timestamp, or equivalent integrity proof to a blockchain or other append-only system. A proof is not the same as publishing the underlying answer.
Security baseline: the intended production design uses AES-256-GCM with a 32-byte key for encrypted payloads, TLS 1.3 for transport, and a 32-byte SHA-256 integrity proof. Ciphertext length varies with the response and authenticated-encryption overhead. Raw answers are intended to remain 0 bytes on a public blockchain. These are design targets, not a security certification.
Customers must not configure a study to place personal data, special-category data, payment credentials, or confidential answer content directly on a public blockchain. The production implementation, chain, key-management model, and retention controls must be documented before launch.
4. Customer content and survey responsibility
You retain your rights in the survey content and response data you lawfully collect. You are responsible for your questions, consent notices, participant permissions, legal basis, retention settings, research ethics, and any notices required for your participants.
You must not use LetsConfide to collect or process information unlawfully, to impersonate another person, to conduct harassment, fraud, discrimination, unlawful surveillance, or activities that violate applicable Indian law or the laws of the place where participants are located.
5. Subscriptions, pricing, and payment
Plan price, billing interval, usage limits, taxes, and any applicable payment-provider charges are displayed before purchase. Prices may be shown in USD or INR depending on the checkout configuration. The payment provider may apply currency conversion, authentication, or transaction controls.
Payment processing is provided by an authorised third-party payment processor selected by LetsConfide. LetsConfide does not ask for or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials. The processor’s terms and privacy notice also apply to the payment transaction.
Subscription cancellation and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. A signed enterprise order form may override these Terms for the services listed in that order form.
6. Availability, security, and support
We will use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security or uninterrupted availability. Planned maintenance, third-party outages, blockchain network conditions, abuse controls, or events outside our reasonable control may affect availability.
Report suspected security issues or unauthorised access promptly to [security email]. Do not include live participant answers in an initial security report.
7. Intellectual property
LetsConfide and its software, branding, documentation, and underlying technology belong to LetsConfide or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during the applicable subscription period.
8. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate abuse, comply with law, respond to a payment dispute, or address a security risk. We will take reasonable steps to provide notice where appropriate. On termination, access and retention are handled according to the plan, order form, and applicable Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers and limitation
LetsConfide is a software service and is not a substitute for legal, medical, financial, ethics, compliance, or information-security advice. You should obtain professional advice for your research category and participant population.
To the extent permitted by law, LetsConfide will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Grievances and governing law
Questions and complaints should first be raised through the Grievance Redressal page. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [insert city and state] will have jurisdiction, subject to applicable law.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms when the service, law, or payment arrangements change. We will publish the revised version with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply to future use.
